I recently came across Esmeralda Hernandez's case and something that stands out to me is the vital role technology could play in helping to find her. Has anyone else thought about how apps like Nextdoor or local Facebook groups could be leveraged to spread information about her disappearance more widely? It seems like the family and police could benefit from keeping the public informed through social media updates, too. These platforms have extensive reach and might encourage someone with info to speak up. I really hope she is safe and comes back home soon. What do you all think, could these platforms make a difference in situations like this?
