Does anyone here know more about the community around Conifer back in the 80s? I’ve been looking into James “Crazy Jim” Murray’s case and trying to understand his life a bit more. Living in a cabin behind Long Brothers Garage must have been so isolated, especially during Colorado winters. I can't help but wonder if anyone at the garage noticed anything unusual back then. Having such a transient lifestyle, interacting with a variety of people, particularly given his involvement with cocaine, must have created a complicated web of relationships. Was there ever any report on local individuals who might have had conflicts with him? It seems like there were so many potential leads that could have been followed up. If only someone could step forward with new info; it could make all the difference for his family and friends who have been living with unanswered questions for all these years. ?

Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon the case of James William Murray, or "Crazy Jim" as he was known. It’s such a tragic story and I can't stop thinking about the details, especially his living situation before he went missing. Living in a cabin behind Long Brothers Garage sounds like a unique setup, and I wonder if anyone in that area remembers anything unusual from that time. It seems like he might have been in a tough spot trying to make ends meet, possibly getting involved with the wrong crowd due to his alleged involvement with drugs. It's sad to think that someone might have information that could help yet is hesitant to come forward. For Jim’s family and friends, I can only imagine how difficult it must be to have no closure even after all these years. Let's hope that continuing to talk about his case will eventually reach the right ears. Would love to hear thoughts and see if we can keep this conversation going.

Hey folks, I've been diving into the case of James William Murray, or "Crazy Jim," and something really stood out to me: his connections to both Long Brothers Garage and that place off Grapevine Road. It's clear he had roots in the Conifer area, moving between different places, which makes me wonder about the community back then. Did people know him well, or was he more of an enigma? I can't help but think there might be someone he interacted with regularly who holds some piece of the puzzle, even unknowingly. Also, considering his last known trip preparations to Arizona, did anyone ever come across info suggesting why he was headed there? Any business or personal reasons? I genuinely hope that by keeping discussions alive, someone with even the smallest detail might come forward. Thinking of Jim’s loved ones and hoping they eventually find answers. ? #justiceforcrazyjim
