Has anyone heard more about the statistic regarding missing Native American people from Gallup, NM? I recently read about Brandon Lee's case, and it just adds another layer to the growing concern. Between 2014 and 2019, there were 675 missing person cases reported, and I was shocked to see that 76% involved Native Americans. This seems incredibly disproportionate. It makes me wonder if certain factors or systemic issues are at play. What steps are being taken to address this alarming trend? Are there any local initiatives or groups actively working on this? Surely such a high percentage suggests more than just coincidence, right? Any insights would be much appreciated.
