I’ve been following Jennifer Elliott’s case and something’s been really bothering me about Anthony Walton’s presence at the scene. How did he just happen to be there when deputies arrived? Was he the one who reported that she ran into the woods, or was it another hiker? I get that people are questioning the timing of her boyfriend’s arrest, but this Walton guy seems crucial. Was there any significant reason he would be on that particular trail with Jennifer, and more importantly, why didn’t he go after her when she ran? I feel like understanding Walton’s role in this situation might shine some light on what really happened that day. Thoughts?

Did anyone else read about that witness account of Jennifer Elliott trying to hide from hikers on the Appalachian Trail? It's puzzling to me. If she really was avoiding being seen, could she have had a reason for not wanting to be found? A lot of folks are quick to think the worst, but it leaves room to wonder if she was dealing with something personal. I remember reading that authorities haven’t completely ruled out foul play but are also open to other possibilities. The fact that her boyfriend was locked up during the time she disappeared does add another layer of complexity. Hopefully, someone out there has a bit more information because even small pieces of the puzzle are important in cases like these. Thoughts?
