I came across Chanel Dior Ross's case and was really struck by how social media played a critical role in the investigation. It’s not often you see such an immediate and direct impact from community involvement online. I remember reading that within just 24 hours of a post going up, there was a significant tip about her whereabouts. It's kind of amazing to see how quickly community networks can mobilize online and how effective they can be in generating leads. As much as technology can be overwhelming at times, this is one of those situations that reminds me it can have a powerful positive side too. Has anyone else noticed any similar cases where social media made a difference this quickly?
