Hey everyone,
I was reading about the disappearance of Lamar Dawan Smith from Youngstown, and something that stood out to me is the role social media might play in these cases. With Smith's case now filed in NamUs (MP142567), it's crucial for everyone to use platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep the word out. I’ve seen other cases where social media really helped in spreading awareness and keeping the community engaged. Maybe sharing his NamUs profile or any information related to his tattoos or scars could spark someone's memory. It's a small effort, but you never know who might have that missing piece of information.
Stay safe and let’s keep our eyes and ears open!
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Lamar Dawan Smith’s case and something's been bugging me—the time it took to report him missing. Smith was last seen on January 15, 2025, but the case wasn't officially reported until February 14, 2025. That’s nearly a month later! I understand not everyone is reported missing immediately, but isn’t that a pretty significant gap? Maybe there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation, but could this delay have affected the investigation? Did anyone have contact with him in that time? If you've ever been involved in trying to find someone who vanished, you know how vital those first few days are. Thoughts?
