Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Elijah Alejandro Evans’ case lately. Something that keeps popping up in my mind is the importance of staying vigilant in our own neighborhoods. Elijah was last seen right after his school basketball practice, and that’s such a vulnerable time, right between being in a structured environment and heading home. It’s disheartening that this case didn’t make it into NamUs for over a month, but it’s not the first time we’ve seen such delays. I truly hope that his schoolmates, anybody at that practice, or even strangers who happened to pass by might start recalling something vital. You know how sometimes little details come back to you later on? Let’s keep discussing and sharing so we can reunite Elijah with his family. Anyone else in the LA area notice anything different around that time?
Hey everyone, just wanted to discuss something odd about Elijah Alejandro Evans' case. I noticed that his disappearance was entered into NamUs over a month after he was last seen. Is this kind of delay normal in missing person cases? It seems strange, especially for a 15-year-old. I feel like every moment counts in these situations. Does anyone here have insight into how these processes usually work or why there might be delays? Perhaps it’s a procedural thing or maybe something specific to his case, but the more I think about it, the more questions I have. Would love to hear your thoughts or any similar cases you might know of.
