Has anyone heard any updates about Deandreus Marrero's case recently? It's been over a decade since he was taken from us, and yet there doesn't seem to be any closure for his family. It's so unsettling to think about how someone can be taken in such a senseless act of violence and the trail just goes cold. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family must still be feeling. Gun violence touches far too many communities, and Milwaukee is no exception. I hope for justice not just for Deandreus but for every victim in his situation. Does anyone know if there are any community efforts or memorials being planned in his honor? Remembering him as more than just a statistic is crucial. Your thoughts and insights would be appreciated.
