Hey everyone, I've been following Steven Gush's case and something keeps nagging at me. I know his vehicle and personal belongings were found at Candlewood Hill WMA, but does anyone know if Steven was known to hike there or was he familiar with the area? It seems odd to me that he'd leave his wallet and cell phone behind unless he felt totally safe, or maybe he was meeting someone he trusted? Just thinking out loud here, but if he wasn’t familiar with the place, how did he end up there? Also, are there other known trails outside the main area that haven't been searched yet? Maybe locals or frequent hikers might have insights. I'm hoping these questions can spark some new ideas or theories that might help.

Has anyone looked into whether there have been any similar missing person cases in the Candlewood Hill Wildlife Management Area? It seems like such an isolated spot, and I can't help but wonder if there might be a pattern or if it's just a coincidence that Steven's belongings were found there. I've heard that some areas become known for such incidents, but I'm not sure if that's the case here. Maybe diving into local archives or police reports could bring some insights? Thoughts?
