Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of JuanJuan Zwang and Peishuan Fan, and something just doesn’t sit right with me. I walked past their neighborhood once when visiting a friend in Old Brookville, and it seemed like such a close-knit and safe community. It's so baffling to think something like this could happen there.
What intrigues me is the behavior of their older son during the brief interaction with the media. It struck me as particularly noteworthy that he chose not to make a public plea. I’m not implying anything negative—it just makes me curious. People react differently in stressful situations, but I wonder if there was a specific reason for his choice. Maybe he has thoughts about what might have happened and is trying to process them privately. Or possibly, he's been advised not to speak publicly due to the ongoing investigation.
Does anyone else have thoughts on how families usually handle media interactions in such high-pressure situations? Hoping for the best for them.
