I was reading about Assana's case again, and I'm really baffled by something. Why wouldn't someone come forward after all these years, especially when there's clear surveillance footage of the suspects at Judy's Red Hots? It seems unlikely that nobody recognized these guys. Surely, someone must have seen those images and thought, "Hey, that looks like someone I know." I really feel for Assana's family—waiting all this time for justice without answers. If anyone is in Chicago or knows folks who were around the area back then, it might be worth revisiting the footage. Maybe with fresh eyes or new developments, someone might finally come forward. Assana deserves that much.
