Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Jeffrey Rogers’ disappearance out of Crystal River, and something I can't get my head around is why no one seems to have seen him leave. I mean, isn't it odd that at 63, he just walks out, and there's no record or witness anywhere? A guy like Rogers should have had at least a few eyeballs on him, right? You’d expect someone – a neighbor, a friend – to have noticed something.
Do we know if there were any surveillance cameras around his neighborhood? I haven’t seen much mention of this in media reports. Even if he walked, some street cams or nearby store cameras might have caught a glimpse of him. Hoping LE has already considered this, but if not, any local sleuths who can check if businesses had their cameras running that day could really help.

Has anyone else noticed how often nearby nature reserves and parks are involved in missing person cases? Crystal River has several wildlife parks and trails that Jeffrey could have wandered into. It's concerning that there's been no real push to search those areas more thoroughly. I know resources can be limited, but maybe local volunteers could organize search parties or even use drones to cover more ground. Sometimes just having the community involved in a search can bring new energy and possibly uncover something vital. If anyone in the area is up for it, coordinating a community-led search might be a step forward to try and find Jeffrey!
