I came across George Jijon's case while scrolling through the news, and something about his disappearance has stuck with me. I'm curious if anyone else has been following it. I noticed that there haven't been any updates since the initial plea for information by the Torrington Police back in December. Does anyone know if his case is still actively being investigated?
I think it's strange that the last person to have reportedly spoken with him was a neighbor. Has there been any talk about whether this neighbor or anyone in the area saw anything suspicious around the time George vanished? It's like he disappeared without a trace, and it's been nearly three months without new information. It just feels like something should have surfaced by now, especially with how connected people are through social media. Has anyone heard anything more through the grapevine or local news? Any thoughts on what we might be missing here?
Hey everyone, I’ve been following George Jijon's case since it first made the news, and something really odd has been bugging me. I live a couple of blocks over, and what's strange is that George was known for his regular Friday night meetups with a few of his buddies at a local pub. Those meetups apparently just stopped without warning right around the time he went missing. I find it hard to believe that not one of those friends noticed anything off or felt the need to check in on him more seriously when he didn't show up. Did they talk to the police? Were any of them the last to see George, aside from his neighbor?
It seems like a close-knit community here, and people look out for one another. If anyone has more info or heard something, it could really help out his family and the investigators. Maybe someone saw him after that meetup? Please, guys, if there's anything—reach out to the Torrington Police or even anonymously. This guy was part of the community, and nobody deserves to just disappear like that without answers.
Hi everyone,
I recently came across the missing person case of George Jijon from Torrington, and a detail that's been bothering me is about the last contact he reportedly had. A neighbor mentioned they saw George around December 22, but hasn't elaborated on the nature of that contact. Does anyone here have any thoughts on what might have happened or noticed anything odd in that area back then? It's troubling that such a significant lead has gone quiet. We all know how crucial those last interactions can be in understanding a person's disappearance.
Let's try to piece together any details we might have missed. Stay safe, everyone.
