I came across a missing persons case that’s really eerie and just wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone else has insights. It’s about Destiney Gunnison from East Point, GA. She went missing on May 12, 2024, after leaving her dad’s house, intending to visit a friend, but never made it there. One detail that stands out is her mental capacity being akin to that of a child, which really makes her vulnerable. It’s been a long time, and what caught my attention is her trusting nature—her mom mentioned that Destiney doesn't distinguish between good and bad people. This could have made her an easy target for someone with ill intentions. Given how she never misses family events, this disappearance seems really out of place. I also found that the Black and Missing Foundation is doing a lot to raise awareness, which I think is a crucial effort here. I can't imagine how hard it must be for her family, not knowing. It’s important that this case stays in the public eye. Maybe shedding more light on her trusting nature could help jog someone's memory or lead to tips. If anyone knows anything or has seen anything unusual around East Point or Oakland City from that time, please contact the local authorities.
