Hey everyone,
I've been following Ángela Yulisa Gutiérrez Ajcip's case, and something that's been on my mind is the potential influence of her language skills on the investigation. Given that Ángela primarily speaks Spanish, I'm curious how that's been affecting communication between law enforcement and her family or anyone she might come in contact with. I hope the outreach efforts are inclusive enough to ensure vital connections aren't missed because of a language barrier.
Also, I'm hopeful that the missing persons webpage they launched will have resources readily available in Spanish. It’d be great if communities with similar situations share any effective outreach strategies they've used. Even the smallest efforts might make a big difference in breaking down communication barriers and saving time in the search efforts. Anyone here with experience or ideas on this?
