I've been digging into the details of the Colonial Parkway Murders, and something that stands out to me is the fuel that was used in Becky's and Cathleen's case. It was diesel, which doesn't ignite easily. Was this just an oversight by the perpetrator, or could it point to someone without much knowledge of vehicles and fuel types? It’s curious because it suggests either a lack of planning or possibly an attempt to mislead investigators. My heart goes out to Becky and Cathleen's families who have had to live with these unanswered questions for so long. I hope that with advancements in technology, some piece of overlooked evidence finally brings justice to these innocent souls. Anyone else have thoughts on the significance of the diesel fuel?
