Hey everyone,
I've been reading up on Lorne Mabbutt's case, and something that keeps bugging me is the location where his remains were found. Red Rocks Park is a well-traveled area, yet it took almost seven years for anyone to come across his remains. I'm wondering if anyone else finds this unsettling? It's baffling that hikers only discovered him in 2012, considering the number of people who visit the park every year. Could it be that his body was moved there later?
It must be so difficult for his family not only to deal with his loss but also to live with so many questions unanswered. Let's hope that with continued public interest, someone with more information comes forward. We owe it to Lorne and his loved ones to keep this case alive.
Keep discussing and sharing. You never know which piece of information might break this cold case open.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the Lorne Mabbutt case for a while now and can't help but keep thinking about the agonizing uncertainty his family must have faced for so many years. It’s unimaginable to go through years of not knowing what happened to a loved one, and then to learn their fate in such a tragic way.
One thing that keeps bothering me is how Lorne's remains ended up being found in such a remote area of Red Rocks Park. I wonder if there's any significance to that location? Was it just an unfortunate spot where he happened to end up, or did someone deliberately choose that place, knowing it would take a long time to be discovered? It’s scary to think about the possibilities.
I constantly find myself hoping that someone out there might remember something—maybe they saw Lorne that day in October 2005, or perhaps they noticed something odd around the park around the time he disappeared. Even the smallest detail could be the key to unraveling this case.
Kudos to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for staying committed after all these years. I just hope that one day soon, Lorne’s family can finally get the answers they're looking for. Sending all my positive thoughts to them.
If anyone has thoughts or inside knowledge about the geography of the park or anything at all, let’s keep discussing. Maybe we can help in some small way.
Stay safe, everyone.
