Hey everyone, I'm curious if anyone knows this, but when a person is experiencing homelessness and goes missing, do authorities treat it differently compared to when someone with a known address goes missing? I was reading about a case where the missing person was homeless and their case worker lost all contact, and it got me thinking. Without a stable place to check for them, like an apartment or house, I wonder if the search efforts are different or if there are unique challenges in finding them. Does anyone have insights or know how these cases are handled? Would love to hear any experiences or thoughts you might have.

I hope I'm not repeating anything that's been discussed already, but I can't stop thinking about how tough it must be to keep track of MP, with him experiencing homelessness. It's got to be incredibly challenging for his case worker to maintain contact, especially if MP doesn’t have a stable place to go to or if he's moving around a lot. I wonder if local shelters or soup kitchens have been asked to keep an eye out for him. Maybe that could help re-establish some form of communication? Just a thought.
