I came across an old newspaper clipping from 1972 about Vincent Palmieri titled "Man Missing; Family Seeks Help." It's both fascinating and tragic to see how quickly the news faded, even when nine kids and a wife were left searching for answers. It’s so easy to forget that behind every headline, there's a real family tormented by uncertainty. It's chilling to think that decades went by before they even knew where Vincent was.
I think the possibility of a previously unknown child emerging in recent years adds another layer of complexity and possibly a motive. Could it have been a personal vendetta or somebody wanting to erase evidence of an affair? It’s disheartening to realize how Hurricane Sandy may have obliterated vital pieces of this puzzle. I wonder if any more records or witness accounts from that time might still come to light.

There were many children outside his marriage. Records weren’t lost through no hurricane sandy . Everything goes to police plaza. There were subpoenas on his address days prior to him missing . Law enforcement was very corrupt in nyc at that time.

How very frustrating. So sad this investigation stagnated and didn't go anywhere fruitful. If there was a real investigation at all........
