I've been following Jose Brown's case pretty closely, and something that's really been sticking with me is how this happened over a holiday weekend. It's supposed to be a time for celebration and relaxation, but for Jose's family and friends, it turned into a nightmare. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be for them every year when Labor Day comes around, knowing that there still aren't any answers.
I've read that the Denver PD and the cold case unit are doing what they can, but it seems like they're really in need of more info. It makes you wonder if someone saw or heard something that night, maybe even something they thought was insignificant at the time. I feel for those who knew Jose; the waiting and wondering must be unbearable. If there's anyone out there who might remember anything at all, no matter how small, please reach out to the authorities. It could make all the difference.
