I recently came across Connie Fulton's case, and I just can't shake the eerie feeling that this happened right in a schoolyard. It's such a violation of a space meant for innocence and learning. I can't imagine how the parents and students felt around that time, knowing something so terrible happened where their children play. And for Connie's family, it must be so distressing to think her final moments were in such a public yet isolated area. The setting of the crime almost suggests it might have been someone familiar with the location - maybe someone who knew the school would be empty at that hour. I wonder if there were ever any suspects who might have had ties to the school, like former staff or someone who lived nearby. The lack of progress in the case is frustrating, but I hope that someday, someone with vital information will speak up.
