Hey everyone,
I'm really struggling to wrap my head around the role of the knife in Christophe Williams' case. It seems like there was a lot of discussion during the trial about proving the presence and threat of a deadly weapon when the knife itself was never found. How do courts typically handle situations like this where the weapon isn't presented as evidence? I feel terrible for Rose, knowing he had a knife held to his neck, and I'm sure Christophe’s family is grappling with the implications of how this evidence (or lack thereof) might have affected his case.
It's eye-opening to see how pivotal witness testimony can be in such matters. How reliable is testimony about a weapon's size and use when the weapon isn't available to be examined directly?
Thanks for any insight and thoughts you all might have.
