I’ve been following Hattie McFarland’s case for a while now, and it’s amazing to see justice finally making headway after all these years. It makes me wonder how many other unsolved cases might be cracked open with these new techniques. My thoughts are with Hattie's loved ones as they navigate this difficult process. Although it took almost 17 years, I hope this brings them some peace or answers in a situation that has been so full of heartache and uncertainty. The perseverance of those cold case detectives has truly paid off, and I commend their work in keeping Hattie's memory alive.
