Hey everyone, I came across the case of Lucio Reyes recently, and I can't stop thinking about how difficult it must be for his family. I was wondering if anyone here has insights into the broader trends of that period in San Antonio. It seems like there were numerous unsolved cases back then, and I'm curious about what systemic issues might have contributed to these investigations stalling. Was it resources, technology, or something else entirely?
From what I've gathered, the Cold Case Review Team still actively works on Lucio's case, among others, which gives some hope. But I'm particularly interested in how community involvement has played a role in these investigations. Have there been instances where tips from residents significantly advanced any cases from that era? It feels like coming together as a community could be a critical piece in finding justice for victims like Lucio. Any thoughts or similar cases we should be aware of here?
