Hi everyone,
I've been following cases from Houston around 2007, and Deon Myles' case caught my attention. It's deeply unsettling how little information has surfaced over the years. I can't help but wonder if Deon's case was overshadowed by the sheer number of incidents that year. It makes me think about the families who are left with so many unanswered questions, and how difficult it must be for them to find any sense of closure.
One thing I keep coming back to is the community environment at that time. Was there something specific contributing to the uptick in violence in Houston? Were certain neighborhoods more affected than others? It seems like understanding the broader picture might give some insight into individual cases like Deon's.
I hope that someday his loved ones will find the answers they deserve. If anyone has more background or insight into what Houston was like during that period, or similar cases that have been solved, please share. It might help us piece together what really happened and bring some justice to Deon and others like him.
Thanks for listening,
