Did anyone else catch the interview with Troy Jefferson's cousin last night? It was so deeply moving to hear about the kind of person he was and the dreams he had for the future. It really puts a face to the tragedy, knowing he was out there trying to make a name for himself, just like any of us. His cousin mentioned how they used to play basketball together growing up, and it just made me think about those little moments that mean everything once someone is gone. I can't imagine the pain his family is feeling, especially with the case still unsolved after all these years. It's truly frustrating how these acts of violence continue to go unresolved, leaving families in a constant state of grief and uncertainty. Let's keep Troy's name circulating and hope for a breakthrough soon. Anyone know if there are any new vigils planned or community efforts to keep his memory alive?

Just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the role of the community in cases like Troy Jefferson's. It’s truly devastating to think of how many families are left without closure. I keep wondering if there were any witnesses that night who might still be out there. Someone might have seen or heard something crucial but perhaps felt too scared or uncertain to come forward. It’s incredible how much power a single tip or piece of information could have in leading investigators in the right direction. If anyone reading this was around the Ennis Street area during that time, no matter how insignificant the details may seem, it could be worth reaching out to the Houston PD. Troy was such a promising young man, and it’s heart-wrenching that his family has had to endure this pain without answers. Seeing the community hold vigils gives me hope that his story hasn’t been forgotten. Let’s keep supporting them, not just by raising awareness but by encouraging those who might have information to break the silence. Together, we can be a voice for justice.
