I've been following Helena's case since it first came to light, and something that's been puzzling me is the weather conditions that night in Fairbanks. On Halloween 2024, the temperatures reportedly dropped sharply, and there was a significant amount of snowfall. Could this have impacted her disappearance? I haven't seen any detailed coverage on whether search efforts were hindered by these weather conditions in the immediate aftermath. Does anyone have insights or remember similar cases where severe weather played a role in the early days of a search? If only we could find more information on how these weather factors were managed. It worries me that something vital might have been missed because of it. What are everyone's thoughts on this angle?
