Was anyone else struck by how this case feels like it’s straight out of a movie? The fact that Shaylon Guidry’s home was broken into the same night before he was found—and with his wife there—that detail is super unsettling. I can’t imagine the terror she must have felt knowing strangers invaded her home and that her husband never came back afterward. Who would have such a vendetta that they’d go from robbery to such a brutal murder? It feels like there has to be more to the story, and I hope Shaylon’s family finds answers soon. It’s deeply disturbing that this case is still unsolved after so many years. Could it be connected to other crimes in the area? Speculating doesn’t fix anything, but hopefully, renewed attention will bring new leads. Whatever the motive or the perpetrators, justice for Shaylon and William is long overdue.
