Hey everyone, I've been thinking about the incredible yet daunting task faced by the San Antonio Cold Case Unit and how crucial community involvement is in cases like David Davis’s. It's truly inspiring how advancements in DNA technology and information sharing can breathe new life into cases that have seemed dormant for years. But, it's also a reminder of how overwhelming the backlog is, with over 2,000 cold cases in the area. I feel for the families, like David’s, who are still searching for answers and justice after so many years. It's a testament to their strength and resilience. Media outreach and community engagement seem vital here — it’s how we can make a difference, however small it might seem. Those who might have seen something or heard details years ago could hold the key to solving these mysteries today. To those in the San Antonio area, keep an eye out for media appeals and consider sharing them. You never know what might jog someone's memory or lead to a breakthrough. Let's hope for the day when David’s family and others finally see justice served. Stay strong, everyone.
