Has anyone else been following the case of Jose Candia? I can't stop thinking about how devastating this is for his family and friends. It sounds like he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and it’s frustrating that there haven’t been any leads.
The description of the vehicle fleeing the scene is so vague, and that makes finding the perpetrator even harder. I wonder if there were any cameras nearby? Maybe someone else in the neighborhood noticed something unusual that night.
It's terrible that violence like this is still so prevalent in Houston. I hope HPD is making progress, but it seems like the community also needs to band together to tackle these issues. Let’s not let Jose become another statistic. What can we do to help push for more resources or awareness in such cases? Thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless tragedy.
