Has anyone else been thinking about the impact that Ronald Lopez's case, and others like it, has on the community? It must be incredibly tough for families to heal when so many questions remain unanswered. As someone who lives in Houston, it’s alarming to think about the level of violence during that time, especially in the northeast region. I really do commend the work of the Homicide Division and their collaborative efforts with the Cold Case Squad. It’s clear they’re doing everything possible, even when it seems like they’re up against a wall. But why does it often feel like cases like these slip through the cracks without resolution? I guess I'm just trying to understand how we, as a community, can provide more support and maybe push for more resources to help bring some closure to families like the Lopez’s. Thoughts?
