Has anyone else been curious about the fact that Max Jensen, who purportedly went missing while trail running, left his home without taking his phone or any sort of GPS device? I know some runners like to disconnect, but in this day and age, it's pretty unusual not to have any way to track your route, especially when going out solo. I find it odd, given the terrain is known to be tricky. Has there been any mention of whether this was typical behavior for him, or if anyone saw him leaving the house that day? I'm trying to understand what might have led him to go out so unprepared, and perhaps it'll offer some clues about his state of mind or what he intended to do. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Emma Collins, the 23-year-old who went missing two weeks ago while hiking in West Creek National Park. It's concerning how her phone was found on the trail, but no other belongings were anywhere near the spot. Does anyone know if the search dogs have managed to pick up any trail yet? From what I've read, the terrain gets pretty rugged off the main pathways. I wonder if the search teams have enough resources to cover those areas thoroughly. Has anyone heard if the park rangers have been working with any special search and rescue teams? It's just so odd how someone could vanish without a trace on such a popular trail. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Has anyone considered the nearby wooded area in the search efforts? In a case like this, where someone is reportedly on foot, dense woods can be incredibly challenging for search teams. I read somewhere about a similar case where search dogs had difficulty because the scent was lost among the thick underbrush and fallen leaves. Maybe the community can help organize or assist in sweeping those areas with local volunteers who know the terrain well. It's crucial not to overlook these spots even if they seem off the main path. Would love to hear thoughts from locals or search and rescue experts on how effective this approach might be!
