Hey everyone,

I recently stumbled upon the case of David Alfrido from back in 2008. Something that really stands out to me is the vicinity where the crime happened. It seems like it was a pretty quiet neighborhood on the southwest side of San Antonio. I've read that it was really out of the ordinary for something like this to happen there.

For those familiar with the area, have there been any notable changes in the neighborhood since that tragic night? I'm curious if residents felt a shift in safety or if they took action afterward. I can't imagine how this has impacted the community that had to grapple with such a senseless act of violence.

It's so important for neighborhoods to look out for one another, and I wonder if there were any community initiatives that emerged following David's death. Maybe this might even inspire others in the city to come together to seek justice for him and bring some semblance of peace to his family.

If anyone has insights or updates, they’d be greatly appreciated. It’d be great if we can keep the conversation alive and perhaps bring some fresh eyes to this case. Thanks for reading.
I've been following the tragic case of David Alfrido since it first happened and I still can't believe how after all these years, there's been no closure for his family. I came across an interview with a witness who mentioned seeing a dark sedan speeding away that night. Has there ever been any more follow-up on that lead? Surely, with advances in forensic technology, there might be some trace evidence that could point towards a suspect or even track the vehicle? It feels so frustrating that his family has had to live without answers. I hope the efforts of cold case investigators will eventually pay off and bring justice to David's loved ones. Anyone else here following this and know if there have been any updates or leads lately?
Hey everyone,

I've been reading through some details on the tragic case of David Alfrido and something that really stood out to me is the effect this must have had on his family and local community. Imagine the shock and fear that must have rippled through each and every one of them hearing what had happened. It's so hard to grasp how someone could just lose their life in a blink of an eye, in a neighborhood they probably thought was safe.

I'm particularly thinking about the witnesses who heard those gunshots or saw the suspect fleeing that night. That must have been incredibly traumatic, and they have an essential role in potentially bringing resolution to this case. It's sad to think that despite what they saw, nothing has led to an arrest.

I wonder if there have been any advancements in the case that just haven't been made public yet. Does anyone know if the police might be looking into newer technologies like genealogy DNA or other forensic breakthroughs? With cases being solved even decades later due to these advances, I hope there's a glimmer of hope for David’s loved ones. They deserve answers and justice so badly.

Let's keep this conversation going and maybe even revisit any forums or discussions where David’s case is mentioned. Public attention can often bring things back into motion, and who knows what piece of information could lead to a breakthrough.?
