Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the timing of Derek's last text on 12/14/2024. It's interesting that we know he left his apartment on 12/11, but it took three days for anyone to receive a message from him. What could have been happening in those days? Was he in trouble or trying to lay low for some reason? It's really puzzling. Maybe he initially intended to come back or reach out sooner, but something intervened. If anyone has thoughts on this, I'd love to hear them. It's these little details that might hold a key to understanding what happened.
Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Derek Stillwell and I'm trying to wrap my head around the timing of everything. Does anyone else find it strange that there was a 3-day gap before that last text came through on 12/14/2024? I mean, if something happened to him right after he left his apartment on 12/11, how could he have sent a message on the 14th? Unless someone else had his phone... but that opens up a whole other can of worms. Just wanted to see if anyone else had thoughts on this.
Does anyone else find it strange that Derek managed to send a text on 12/14, three days after he was last seen? It's almost like that message was meant to throw people off or delay the search for him. Has anyone seen any analysis of the text? Was there anything odd about its wording or timing? This aspect of the case seems like it could be a crucial piece of the puzzle – but I'm just speculating. Would love to hear if anyone else has thoughts on this or similar experiences in other missing person cases.
