Does anyone have updates on the status of the investigation into Luis Humberto Mendez's murder? I came across this case while reading through some older cases, and it's been on my mind. The fact that there hasn't been much information on suspects or motives is so frustrating. I can't even begin to imagine what Luis's family and fiancée have been going through all these years. It must be incredibly painful to live with so many unanswered questions. I'm curious if anyone has ideas on why there seems to be such a lack of leads. Was there any forensic evidence at the scene? Did the Houston Police receive any tips after reaching out to the community for help? I really hope they can find some justice for Luis and his loved ones... it's long overdue. Surely, someone out there knows something, and I still believe that every little bit of information could make a difference in cases like these.
