Has anyone else been following the Raymundo Salazar case? It's so difficult to imagine how an 82-year-old could meet such a violent end. It’s especially frustrating knowing the case hasn’t seen any breakthroughs despite the efforts of the Cold Case Unit. I keep thinking about what a gentle soul he might have been and how deeply his loss must be felt by his family and friends. It’s sad that this kind of violence happened, and even more so, that there seems to be a lack of witness cooperation. I wonder if there’s someone out there who knows more than they’ve shared. With advancements in forensic technology, I remain hopeful that something will come to light soon. Would love to hear thoughts on whether newer investigative techniques might offer new insights in cases like these. Reach out if you have any info to help the SAPD!
Has anyone else looked into the possible connection between Raymundo Salazar's case and other unsolved homicides in the San Antonio area from around the same time? I find it so troubling that there were no significant leads and no one willing to come forward with information. It feels like there could be some common thread or pattern that links these cases. It’s been over a decade, and yet there are still no answers for Mr. Salazar's family. I really feel for them and can't imagine the pain they must still be going through every day.
I think it's crucial that we keep talking about his case and others like it, and keep them from fading into obscurity. If anyone has more detailed info or thoughts on potential connections, or even just theories, it would be great to keep this conversation going. And remember, any small piece of info might help the Cold Case Unit make progress. Let's stay persistent in demanding justice for Raymundo and others who have suffered similar fates.
