I was digging through some missing person cases today and saw the one about Marvin Emanuel Hayes, a 15-year-old from Jacksonville. What's odd is that his disappearance hasn't been linked to any alert from the FBI yet. It got me thinking – I wonder if there are specific criteria that determine which cases get those alerts. Maybe there’s more behind the scenes that influences these decisions, like patterns or connections to other cases? It's so frustrating not knowing. If anyone here has insights into how these alerts work, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Has anyone else noticed that Marvin’s case seems a bit low-profile compared to others? I was checking the NamUs database, and while it's great that he's listed there, I don't see much media coverage or specific alerts from the FBI about his disappearance. It's frustrating how some cases don't seem to get as much attention right off the bat. I get that the authorities are likely doing their job behind the scenes, but public awareness can be so crucial in these early stages. Anyone have thoughts on why some cases might not hit the media radar as quickly?
