Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Molly Martel and I've been trying to wrap my head around the fact she was last seen getting into an Uber. It makes me wonder about the role of rideshare apps in disappearances. Are records from these companies readily available to assist in investigations? I assume law enforcement would have already reached out to the Uber company involved, but I'm curious if there's a standard protocol when it comes to tapping into these digital trails. Could it be as straightforward as checking the driver's history and following up with them? Or is it more complex? I'm really hoping there might be some leads from this aspect. Any thoughts on how this usually unfolds or how quickly information can be obtained from rideshare companies would be appreciated. Thanks!

Has anyone noticed how quickly things can turn from normal to frantic? Molly Martel's case has me glued to every update, or lack thereof. Something that's been on my mind since hearing about it is the fact she was last seen getting into an Uber. There's always talk about safety and tracking when it comes to rideshares. I'm curious if the investigators have managed to pinpoint who the driver was or if there’s any GPS data they’re following up on. It’s unsettling how such a common action like taking an Uber could possibly play a part in someone’s vanishing. Anyone else think the time gap between her last sighting and the report being filed is concerning? Every detail matters in cases like this, and it feels like there's so much we still don't know.
