Hey everyone,
I’ve been digging into the tragic case of Carlos Delcid and something that stands out is the location and timing of the incident. It's harrowing to think that it happened in such a lively area. Westheimer and Fondren are always bustling with people due to the nightlife, so it's hard to fathom how this went down with seemingly no solid leads or witnesses stepping forward.
I find it so frustrating that in a place where lots of people frequent, there wasn’t more surveillance coverage. You'd think an area like that would have better cameras or more eyes on it given how much happens there. It’s really unfortunate that this lack of footage might be what's keeping justice out of reach for Carlos's family and friends.
It makes me wonder if there have been any recent updates or initiatives in the community regarding increased surveillance or safety measures. It's the very least that could be done to prevent other families from enduring this kind of senseless loss. If anyone knows more about community efforts, please share. Carlos deserved so much better, and I hope that someday soon there will be closure in this case. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved him.
