I've been revisiting the case of Dominique Brown lately, and something that still stands out to me is the lack of witness cooperation. I can't help but wonder if fear played a significant role here. Given the location and the rise in violent crimes around that time in Houston, it seems possible that witnesses might have been afraid to come forward. Maybe they feared retaliation or doubted the legal system's ability to protect them. It's such a tragic situation, and I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for Dominique’s family, knowing that people could hold vital information but are too scared to speak up. It's a reminder of how important community trust and safety are in solving these heartbreaking cases. I sincerely hope someone finds the courage to step forward, bringing vital info to light for the sake of justice and closure for Dominique's loved ones.
