I just can't help but think about how little Ruth Clay was cherished by her neighbors. It's infuriating that such a lovable person who presumably had no enemies could be taken from us so viciously. I wonder if there was anything missed by way of someone shady lurking around her neighborhood in the days leading up to her death. It's like one of those times where you wish CCTV cameras had been more widespread back then.
It's truly tragic that despite the efforts from her family and the police, there seem to be no solid leads. It's been over a decade, and Ruth deserves so much more than this unresolved end. Perhaps someone out there has a vital piece of intel but they don't even realize its relevance. If only the right piece of information could push this investigation forward, it would be such a consolation for those who knew and loved her.
Has there been any recent effort to revisit old interview notes or any talk of utilizing newer forensic methods on evidence from the scene? We can only hope that someday, the case will find its resolution. My heart goes out to Ruth's family, they must carry such a burden—hopefully, they'll find the justice she deserves soon.
