Has anyone else been following the case of Hipolito Gomez? It's just so awful what happened to him and how gang activity continues to impact so many in Houston. I'm curious about the role MS-13 might have played in this. From everything I've read, it seems like this gang is a major problem not just in Houston but nationwide. I really feel for Gomez’s family and friends; it must be so difficult knowing that justice hasn’t fully been served yet. I wonder what can be done to motivate more community members to come forward with any information they might have. It's scary thinking about how many people might be too frightened to help due to gang intimidation. If anyone has more insights into how these cases usually get resolved or how communities have successfully worked with law enforcement, please share! Every bit of knowledge could be helpful.
