Has anyone else looked into the details surrounding the discovery of Wallace Lembke's car? I find it odd that it was left parked at a Howard Johnson's in Wauwatosa, of all places. Was this just a random spot, or did he have some connection there? The presence of the blood and his glasses suggests a struggle, but why that location specifically? I’ve been digging into what was in the area back in 1982, like if there were any notable crimes or people he might have known associated with that place. It seems like such a specific piece of the puzzle that could hold some significance. Any old-timers from Milwaukee remember if that spot had any reputation back in the day?
I've been following Wallace Lembke's case for a while, and something that's always puzzled me is the presence of his bloodied eyeglasses in the trunk of his car. Eyeglasses are so personal and essential for daily functioning, especially for someone his age. It's unsettling to imagine how they ended up there. Was there a struggle in or around his vehicle? Did someone who knew him take them as a keepsake or trophy? Or were they left behind intentionally as a sinister message? It's details like this that make unsolved cases so perplexing and difficult to piece together. If anyone has thoughts on what the glasses might indicate or if they ever had any relevance to the case, I'd love to hear them.
