Hey everyone, I've been deep diving into the case of Honest Juan Cayanan Macadaeg and his son EJ, and one thing that keeps sticking with me is the potential connection to Manila. It got me thinking about how those kinds of transitions are facilitated. Are there established networks that help folks disappear? I mean, Honest Juan seems to have planned this pretty well if he made it all the way to the Philippines without getting flagged immediately. I also wonder if anyone in the expat community there might've seen him or EJ at some point. With his distinct tattoos, it seems like someone would have noticed them at one point or another. Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has experience with similar cases involving international movements!

I've been diving into the details of the Honest Juan Macadaeg case, and one aspect that's stuck with me is the use of his aliases, "John" or "John Boy." It got me thinking about how someone might manage to evade authorities for so long. If they've traveled to Manila, the choice of these aliases might be strategic, considering the commonality of the names in the area. What's intriguing is how this could complicate the search efforts—especially if they've blended into a community where such names don't raise suspicions. Anyone else have thoughts on why these particular names might have been chosen, or any experiences with how aliases have played a role in similar cases?
