I've been following the Tammy Fudge case closely. I can't imagine how difficult these past few years have been for Tammy's loved ones—waiting and hoping for some justice. The recent breakthrough with her case made me think about the power of forensic technology and how it helps solve cold cases. It's bittersweet, though. On one hand, it's amazing how DNA developments are breathing life back into investigations that seemed unsolvable. On the other, it's sad to think about how evidence sits for years while families are left in turmoil. I'm really hoping this renewed attention will lead to more breakthroughs, not just for Tammy's case but for others that have gone cold. Every new development must stir a lot of emotions for families.
