Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Matthew Robertson, the teen who went missing from Weatherford, OK, and I'm really curious about the role social media can play in these situations. I've seen it work in some other cases where people shared posts or photos, leading to valuable tips for investigators. Do you think if we push more on social platforms, like starting a #FindMatthew campaign, it could gather more attention and maybe even reach someone who knows something? It's amazing how connected our world is and how a single share could reach the right person who holds a key piece of information. If anyone’s interested or already doing something like this, I'd love to help out!
I was doing some map searches earlier, and it got me thinking about the area where Matthew was last seen. Weatherford isn’t that large of a town, but there are a ton of rural spots nearby that could make searches more challenging. Has anyone heard if the authorities are specifically focusing on any of these outlying areas? It's easy to overlook those back roads and empty fields when you're concentrating on town spots. If I were in that area, I’d start looking into the trails and less-traveled areas just outside the town. It's a long shot, but you never know what might have been missed. Keep sharing those flyers and talking to folks in surrounding communities. Every little bit helps!
