I can't get over how terrifying it must have been for Ms. Lasoya's family to receive that phone call in the middle of the night. It's such a cruel twist of fate for her to be caught up in something so random and violent, especially at her age when she should have felt safe in her own home. I wonder if there have been any updates or new leads in the case recently. It's been so long, but I still hold onto hope that someone will come forward with information. It's frustrating and sad to see a case like this remain unsolved for so long. Does anyone here have any similar cases from the area that were resolved? Perhaps there could be some overlooked connections. Sending strength to her loved ones during this trying time.
