Something that's always struck me about the Keddie Cabin Murders is the way Sue Sharp was found. It's so upsetting to think about her final moments and how she was bound and gagged in the cabin she was trying to make a safe home for her kids. I can't even imagine the fear she must have felt in those last moments, knowing something terrible was happening to her family as well. It's chilling and sad beyond words. Has anyone come across any information on why the crime scene was so poorly handled? I know there are theories about corruption, but it's baffling how things were overlooked back then. Forensic advances have come such a long way since 1981—hopefully, they can bring some justice to this haunting case. It's a tragedy that weighs heavily not only on the victims' families but also on those following the investigation, hoping for some resolution.
Hi everyone,
I recently read more into the Keddie Cabin Murders, and something that stood out to me was the complexity and confusion surrounding the medical tape and electrical wire used to bind the victims. It makes me wonder about the level of premeditation involved. Did the perpetrators bring these materials with them, or did they find them on-site in a desperate, improvised move?
Knowing that Sue, John, and Dana were restrained in such a vicious manner, the heartbreak for the surviving family and friends must be indescribable. How terrifying it must be for people in small towns, where everyone feels like they know each other, yet such a brutal crime could happen in their backyard.
I truly hope that with advancements in forensic technology, more progress can be made. The families deserve answers, and Sue, John, Dana, and Tina deserve justice. It's unbelievable that so many years have passed without resolution, but we can remain hopeful that someone somewhere might finally piece together the truth.
Anyone else have thoughts on the complexity of the crime scene? It almost seems like something out of a movie, but sadly, it's real life.
