Hey everyone, I'm fairly new here, and I've been following Jose Frias' case closely. Something that’s been bothering me and I'm sure many of you too is the gap in what the media seems to cover about missing cases like his. It’s been nearly seven years since Jose was last seen in Lodi, California, and you’d think with all the technology we have, these cases wouldn't remain unsolved for so long. I read that the California DOJ is using various forensic techniques, including DNA comparison, to assist in cases like Jose's. It got me thinking about how crucial these methods have become in recent years. Has anyone else read up on how effective they've actually been? I mean, I wonder how often they really lead to breakthroughs in cases. Personally, I believe that while DNA and dental records are incredible tools, they also need to be accompanied by community outreach and awareness efforts to truly make an impact. Also, with this in mind, I think this forum and others like it play a significant role in spreading awareness. Perhaps more people joining discussions can help jog memories or bring forward new witnesses. It's disheartening to know that there are still families waiting for answers, but I believe our collective efforts can make a difference. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Are there other resources or methods you think could be more effective in bringing Jose home? Stay safe, [Username]

Hi everyone, I’ve been following the case of Jose Frias, who went missing from Lodi, CA, back in December 2016, and something I’ve been pondering is the role of social media and technology in cases like his. It seems like a lot of people tend to overlook the impact that social campaigns can have in spreading awareness and gathering tips. Has anyone noticed any local efforts or social media campaigns that focus on Jose’s case specifically? Sometimes, a well-placed post can really catch the right eyes and lead to important breakthroughs. I'm hoping that someone who knows something might stumble across a share or a conversation online and it could jog a memory. Thoughts? Would love to hear if anyone's seen similar cases where social media made a difference and got results.
