I've been following April Capsel's case, and something that's really caught my attention is the role the Illinois State Police Crime Lab might play in this investigation. With the murder weapon reportedly sent there for analysis, I wonder how long it typically takes for results to come back in a case like this. Could delays in processing evidence be affecting how quickly the authorities can move forward with finding her, or potentially ruling her out as a suspect? I've read that crime labs can sometimes be backlogged, which might impact the case's progress. Anyone here with experience about how these processes work? Any insight would be helpful as we're all waiting for more news on April.
I’ve been following the case of April Capsel closely and something's been bothering me. Has anyone else noticed how quiet her circle of friends has been since she went missing? She was reportedly last seen intending to meet with friends on Lundy Street, but there's been little to no chatter about them in any updates or interviews. They might hold some critical information, especially considering the turn her case has taken with the homicide angle. It’s unusual not to hear anything from people who were supposedly the last to see her. Could it be that they’ve gone into hiding because of something they know, or are they being kept quiet by the police for some reason? What do you all think about this aspect of the case? Anyone from the area have more insights?
